What's the difference between Design + Build and engaging an architect separately?

With Design + Build, one team owns the project from first concept through to handover — you don't sit between the designer and builder translating between them. The brief, budget and program are held by the same people. It removes the most common cause of cost blowout: misalignment between design and construction.
Can I bring my own architect or designer?

Yes. While we run a curated design collaborator network, we also work with the architect or designer you already trust. We integrate them into our Design + Build process and hold the construction-side relationship end-to-end.
How long does a Design + Build project take?

Design and approvals typically take 4–8 months depending on council and complexity. Construction usually runs 9–14 months on site. We confirm the full program in writing before you commit.
How does fixed pricing work with Design + Build?

We don't lock a construction price until design is far enough progressed to cost accurately. Once we do, the contract price is fixed — variations only come from changes you ask for, not from things we should have known.
